During the indoor season there are two different groups for volleyball in Edmonton. Free To Be has co-ed recreational and intermediate teams.
Free to Be Volleyball Recreational Volleyball is scheduled on Tuesdays at Mother Teresa located at 9008-105A Avenue. Beginning on October 6th from 8-10pm
Intermediate Volleyball begins 7:30-9:30 every Thursday October 1, 2009 at Amiskiwiciy Academy at 101 airport road.
Free To Be Volleyball has two levels
The recreational league meets every Tuesday and the intermediate league meets every Thursday.
The intermediate league offers coaching and drills as well as opportunities to participate in inter-city tournaments. Please note that there is limited space available on the intermediate league. Organizers of the Intermediate group reserve the right to provide feedback to players regarding skill level. Players will also be evaluated by external coaches in 2008 to ensure that their skill level is at the Intermediate level.
While the Thursday night group welcomes all players it is important to note that there is an expectation for players to have an intermediate level of skills and knowledge or be in the process of attaining that level. The Organizing Committee of Free to be Volleyball reserves the right to advise players regarding sportsmanship, personal conduct and skill level suitability. Please note that there is a new start time for the group. We will begin at 7:30 pm and end at 9:30pm.
Practices will be held at Amiskiwaciy Academy at 101 Airport Road.
